I just answered the door and it was the POlice. Apparently someone was trying to break into an apartment about 15 minutes ago and they wanted to know if I'd heard anything. Smokey ran out to "greet" the policeman. Then he "submissive peed" in front of the guy. Smokey might have whizzed on his shoes because before he turned to leave, the POliceman raised his leg and looked down at his feet.
Lord, I hope not.
