"Superstar" Day 6

A few years ago, it dawned on me that I hadn't knit anything for three of my brothers. So, I decided to design a hat for each of them. "Cables and Ladders", the Knit and Crochet Superstar* day 6 free pattern, is one of those hats.  I wish I had a clearer picture (you can make it a little larger by clicking on it), but hopefully you can appreciate the 6-stitch cables and the ladder pattern formed by alternating purl rows and knit rows.
